Exeter's Trunk or Treat

There were lots of treats to be had on Sunday evening in Exeter.  Their second annual trunk or treat was a huge success.  The event opened at 4:30 p.m. with the temp hovering in the chilly digits.  Over 20 vehicles had the trunks open to pass out treats to the costumed.  From cookie monster, to the pirates, along with monsters and a pictogram puzzle station (a superintendent is always educating) there were lots of fun trunks.

Before or after cruising the trunk show, treaters could grab supper in the senior center which included hot dogs, chips and freshly spun cotton candy.  The senior class offered hot chocolate and coffee outside for a free will donation.  The DJ spun some spooky tunes to add to the atmosphere.

The Exeter Public Library once again sponsored the event with donations from Generations Bank, Greg’s Market, Sweetwater Bar and Grill, Exeter Volunteer Fire Department, and Exeter Senior Center.
