Death Notice: Larry L. Cudaback

 A Mass of Christian Burial for Larry will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Exeter, Nebraska with Father Brendan Kelly presiding.

Praying of Rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Exeter, Nebraska with Father Brendan Kelly leading the Rosary.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with family present from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Farmer Funeral Home in Exeter, Nebraska.

Military Graveside Services will be held following the funeral mass at the Exeter Cemetery in Exeter, Nebraska.

Memorials are to be directed to Exeter-Milligan School Foundation or the St. Stephen Catholic Church Building Fund.

A flyer highlighting barn quilts in the Fillmore County was posted.  There were seven at the Exeter Care Center.

 

Emily Manning was named the Wilber Czech Queen this year.  She is the daughter of Mark and Leanne Manning of Kramer and the granddaughter of Tom and Marilyn Manning of Burress and Rex and the late Betty Brown of rural Fairmont.  

 

 

Cub Scouts in Exeter Pack 218 enjoyed an afternoon learning to bowl in York last Monday.  The scouts also got some tips and a tour from Bob Crosby at the bowling alley.  After bowling two games the scouts stopped for supper and headed by to Exeter.  Attending were Josh Meyer, Tyler Due, Mikey Bartu, Troy Kallhoff, Blake Meyer, Clint Oldehoeft, Ben Bartu and Braden Capek.
