Exeter Public Library Summer Events
Jammin Randy entertained at the library Tuesday, the 18th with fun songs about kindness that encouraged brain connection and lots of movement. Seventeen children attended. The Summer Read Finale with prizes and a picnic lunch is next Tuesday the 25th.

The Farmers Cooperative completed a
new shed at the Fertlizer plant north of Exeter.
The
80' x 100' building is slated to be a seed shed and has three bulk seed
tanks. A seed treater and conveyor system is also included.
Swimming
lessons were held at the Exeter Aquatic Center.
Lots
of activities for Exeter Fun Days- Saturday
morning the United Methodist Church is having a garage sale and bake sale at
the church.
At 9 a.m. there is a bullhead fishing tournament
at the Fire Department.
Junk in the Trunk lines two streets downtown
Saturday morning, along with the Waffle breakfast and the craft show at the
Legion.
The Library is having a book sale.
The Softball tournament is going on Saturday and
the Boy Scouts will have a food stand at the ball shack.
There will be kiddie games downtown, free
swimming and snacks and fun bingo at the Legion at 4 p.m.
The Kids and Pets Parade starts at 5 p.m.
downtown.
The feature for the evening will be the Exeter
Volunteer Fire And Rescue BBQ, Beer Garden and Street Dance from 5:00 p.m. - 1
a.m. Starring Rusty Nichol and Who's Bill Anyway.
Exeter streets are seeing some much needed repair. The
Exeter Village Board identified close to 20 spots in town that were in
desperate need of repair and Klein Construction out of Dorchester won the bid
to do the work. The work should be completed in the next few weeks.
