Pool Update
There was a lot of activity at the pool today. South Exeter Avenue just south of the last stop sign was torn up to trench power lines underground. See picture. Also they were doing some level around the edge of the pool. The pump company was at the site continuing connections and pump placement.

Spring storm brings wind, hail to Exeter
Around 3:00 p.m. the high winds that plagued Exeter all day turned dangerous as a severe thunderstorm blew into town. A west bound semi with an empty cattle trailer turned over just west of town during the storm. The driver was transported in the Exeter Rescue Unit as a precautionary measure. Exeter Volunteer Fire Department was assisted by the Fillmore County Sheriff Department and the Nebraska State Patrol in traffic control. Randy Hitz of Hitz Towing out of York arrived at the scene to upright the vehicle.
SPRING!!!!
These early purple crocuses were spotted before the official first day of spring. Unfortunately the end of the week won't be as warm but we had a beautiful weekend - Post some other locations of early flowers if you have seen some for the whole community to enjoy!
