EMF Exits a stacked MUDECAS bracket early

EMF made the A division of the MUDECAS tournament but were seeded #8, bottom of the bracket in a very tough A division.  The met the #1 seed Freeman on Monday night and lost two close sets.  On Tuesday the met Palmyra, the #5 seed and lost both sets 22-25.

EMF Falls in Home Opener

The Bobcats held their own against one of the best defenses in the state in the home opener in Milligan against Shelby Rising City.

EMF got on the board first with :55 left in the first quarter Mikey Bartu broke loose and got in for a TD.  Bartu also had the two point conversion. 8-0

With 10:04 left in the second quarter SRC sends a ball through the air for six and were in for the extra ponts. 8-8

Bartu got down to the one yard line with 1:41 left in the half and Vavra kept the ball and was in for six but the two point attempt was not good. 14-8

After recovering a fumble the Bobcats got down to the end zone and on fourth and one Bartu got into the end zone 20-8

Eleven seconds left in the thir dquarter and SRC found the end zone for eight more making it 20-16.

With 6:28 left in the game SRC again found the end zone for eight making the final score 20-24.

Exeter Milligan's 6th-grade science class is about scientific methods and how to set an experiment.  They used this method to determine the best technique to flip a bottle to land standing up.

Exeter-Milligan Announces Homecoming Court


 Exeter-Milligan Seniors nominated for Homecoming Court include, (from the left): Kierra Papik, Aidan Vavra, Lily Jeffries, Carter Milton Kmila Benitez and Mikey Bartu.


The King and Queen will be crowned after the football game in Friend on Friday night.

There will be a pep rally in downtown Exeter on Friday at 1 p.m.

Exeter-Milligan Update: Fourth grade

 

4th Grade Update

The Exeter-Milligan 4th graders experimented and explored during our Science inquiry. They had a liquid and a powdery substance. They predicted what the substances were and then mixed them. Most thought it was chocolate milk, but their hypothesis was challenged when it became thicker the longer they stirred—they finally discovered that it was chocolate pudding.
