Timberwolves to play in third place games at MUDECAS

Both Timberwolf teams fell in MUDECAS tournament action on Thursday.  The Lady Timberwolves came out strong and led against Meridian for almost the entire game.  They were tied with 28 seconds left in regulation play but fell 35-40 in OT.  The boys met a tough Pawnee City team (#1 seed) and lost 40-51.  The girls will play on Friday at 3:30 in the Auditorium and the boys will play Saturday at 2:45 in the Auditorium.  Both games will be broadcast on the EM Network (here)

Throwback Thursday 1/6/2013

The Art II class at Exeter-Milligan has learned the term trompe l’oeil , which means “to fool the eye”.  They are making food sculptures out of clay to fool people into believing they are real.

The students have made a piece of cake with pecans and bits of chocolate, doughnuts, and a banana split.  The students are adding the glaze for color and are anxious to see them after they come out of the kiln.

In Mr. Dean Filipi's General Industrial Tech. class, Nolan White and Robert Harre went green and made a deer blind out of recycled materials.  The body of the blind is made of old cow tanks while the roof is an old satellite dish.
