Exeter-Mililgan Update:

Life Cycles

by Kelsey Horne, Exeter-Milligan 2nd Grade Teacher

The 2nd grade class studied life cycles earlier in the year. Now that springtime is here, they are getting a chance to have a hands-on experience hatching chicks. Alexis Schmidt, from the Fillmore County Extention office, visited and taught the students what the eggs need to hatch and showed them the different parts of the egg. Students are eagerly counting down the 21 days waiting to hear the first peep!
