Exeter Graduate Joins Staff at Generations Bank



Generations Bank, Exeter, Nebraska has announced the addition of a new service through a partnership with La Vista, Nebraska based Securities America.  With this new service, Exeter native Derek Betka will be serving as an independent advisor for Securities America and will have an office located in the Generations Bank building.

Betka, who specializes in wealth management, wealth preservation, including long-term care and estate planning, has been involved in the financial services industry for seven years.  Betka holds his life, health, long term care and securities based investment licenses.  He has previous experience with nationally known companies such as ADM and John Hancock.  Derek’s experience also includes conducting multiple estate planning seminars throughout the area.

Betka has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agri-Business from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.  He and his wife Brooke, a native of Davenport, recently relocated from Wahoo to Fairmont.  The Betka's have two children, Kayleigh age 3 ½ and Kelsey who is 1.  Betka is active in his church and was recently elected President of the Alpha Gamma Rho Alumni Board.
Betka will have regular office hours at Generations Bank in Exeter.  He will be in Exeter on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. beginning in August or by appointment.

Exeter GFWC President Receives National Award



              Elaine Oldehoeft, GFWC Exeter Woman's Club President, received an award
             from National GFWC headquarters.  Elaine had submitted a  photo for the
             2014 GFWC "Year in Pictures" calendar, and her picture was chosen for the
             month of February.  NFWC President, Pat Gage, made the presentation at
             Dist IV Workshop in Wilber on July 19, 2013.
