Governor to Speak at FCDC 25th Celebration



Governor Heineman to Speak at FCDC’s 25th Celebration

Governor Dave Heineman will be the special speaker at the Fillmore County Development’s Annual meeting and 25th Celebration on Sunday, February 2nd at the Shickley Community Center.  The event will begin at 2:00 p.m. with a Social Gathering.  The annual meeting with Governor Heineman speaking will commence at 2:30.

This February is the 25th anniversary of when the FCDC filed Articles of Incorporation as a nonprofit in 1989. The event will not only be a time to celebrate 25 years of the FCDC, but will also be a time to celebrate local business expansions and new businesses that have located in Fillmore County. 
Fillmore County Development Corporation will also be revealing a new logo at the meeting.  
Everyone is invited to attend the FCDC’s Annual meeting to meet and welcome Governor Heineman whether or not they are a current FCDC member. It is time to celebrate 25 years  and look forward to the future.

Exeter-Milligan Band to Host Soup Supper Friday

Friday night the Exeter-Milligan Band will host their Annual Soup Supper from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m.
The Timberwolves will be hosting Bruning Davenport Shickley with the Girls JV to play 2 quarters starting at 4:00 p.m.  Boys JV to follow and Varsity at 6:15 and 8:00.

Exeter-Milligan Update: Doane Vocal Festival



Exeter-Milligan senior, Kimberlin Ruhl, participated in the Doane Vocal Festival on January 12-13. The group performed a concert the evening of January 13.  Pictured are (left to right) Jessica Ruhl, Dr. Kurt Runestad (Doane Choir director), Kimberlin Ruhl and Mariah Ruhl. Kimberlin's sisters, Jessica and Mariah, have been members of the Doane Choir, under the direction of Dr. Runestad.
