The Exeter-Milligan Class of 2011 graduated 21 students including: Heather Pribyl, Mariah Bigelow, Brittany Behrends, Kelsey Moore, Chloe Brietbach, Caroline Harre, Cody Soukup, Cassie Harre, MiKayla Ruhl, Taylor Slezak, Amanda Dinneen, Linsey Klemm, Mariah Ruhl, Jake Wilkins, Tyler Manning, Landon Rhodes, Zach Jensen, Spencer Bures, Andrew Colson, Jameson Trauger and Austin Stride.

 

Eight Exeter-Milligan Public Schools 5th and 6th Grade students earned the Presidential award for the President's Challenge Physical Fitness Test.  This award recognizes students who achieve an outstanding level of physical fitness. To earn this award, students must score at or above the 85th percentile on all five activities tested. The students include: Hannah Horne, Katie Mounce, Clarissa Mounce,
Kelsey Bigelow, Trevor Luzum, Eric Olsen, Bailey Steuben, Hannah Beethe.

 

Eleven Exeter-Milligan Public Schools 5th and 6th Grade students earned the National Physical Fitness award for the President's Challenge Physical Fitness Test. Students earned this award for scoring above the 50th percentile on all five activities tested. The students include: Patrick Murphy, Janey Erdkamp, Vicki Androyna, Haylee Sheffield, Joey Bartu, Evan Harre, Cameron White, Joan Strate, Lucy Murphy, Hailey Luzum, and Samantha Horne.

 

Eight Exeter-Milligan Public Schools 3rd and 4th Grade students earned the National Physical Fitness award for the President's Challenge Physical Fitness Test.  Students earned this award for scoring above the 50th percentile on all five activities tested. They include: Caitlin Murphy, Anna Sluka, Max Zeleny, Ty
Underwood, Peytan Brandt, Theron Odvody, Colton Bossaller, and Josie Kresak.

 

Eight Exeter-Milligan Public Schools 3rd and 4th Grade students earned the Presidential award for the President's Challenge Physical Fitness Test.  This award recognizes students who achieve an outstanding level of physical fitness. To earn this award, students must score at or above the 85th percentile on all five activities tested. These include: Kate Jansky, Brooke Poppert, Kayla Geiger,Katherine White, Trever Zelenka, Mitchell Manning, Spencer Pribyl, and Blake Steuben.

 

Exeter-Milligan Kindergarten, first and second graders spent Friday learning and exploring at the Edgerton Explorit Center in Aurora.

 

The Exeter-Milligan School Back Pack program recently received a donation of $523.00 from music instructor Nancy Jo Galusha and her students. Currently the Exeter United Methodist Church has embraced this project as one of their missions in the community.

 

Shirley M. Thomsen, age 75 of Exeter Nebraska died in Lincoln on Thursday May 12, 2011. She was born to George & Elizabeth ( Kahler ) Fox on April 23,1936 in Geneva, Nebraska.
