Geneva
Arts Council, using a grant from Humanities Nebraska, brought Paul Siebert to
Geneva to present “Echoes of an Era” to Fillmore County grade school students
on October 2nd at the City Auditorium.
Using the
Nebraska State Seal and Flag as a back drop, Paul presented a musical living
history program of a family’s journey from Russia to Nebraska in the
1870’s. Siebert used original and period music with seven different
acoustic instruments, storytelling, personal family history, period costume and
extensive knowledge on the subject of Blacksmithing/metallurgy to present an
interactive entertaining program for the students.
