Exeter-Milligan will meet the Meridian Mustangs tonight in the CRC Championship at the York Auditorium tonight at 7 p.m. If you can't make it to the game you can watch it live on STRIV

Saturday Dec. 1st, "Christmas Fun for Kids" at the
Exeter Legion 9-:00am 12:00.
Breakfast served 9-10:00 - Provided by the 3 Exeter

Registration Table: One lucky child will win a door

Christmas Cookie Decorating: Each child will
decorate 4 cookies to take home, assisted by Exeter
Woman's Club
Ornament making: FCCLA girls will assist the kids in
making ornaments, also assisted by our local ladies of
the community.
Face Painting by FCCLA girls
Santa's Store, Kids pay $1 for entry to select gift for
their Mother & a gift for their Father. Gift wrappers
will wrap their gifts-Exeter Woman's Club members.
Ginger Bread House competition: ages to age
18. Will have two categories, to age 11 & 12-18.
Houses will be made at home, brought in for
judging. Winner in each age group will receive $10
cash. Everyone throughout the morning will vote on
which house, they like the best.
Jelly Bean counting contest.

If you have a loose dog caught you can call the Village Office to see if someone is available to take care of it********

SENIOR BOYS EXETER HIGH CLASS OF 1949 The guys in this picture are L to R. Richard Thompsen (Red), Gaylord Becker (Beck), Hans (Hike) Nelson, Don Chapman, Dale Rasmussen, Bert Becker, Richard Erdkamp. Bob Leif, and Keith Nielsen. It was taken in the spring of 1949 as we were to graduate that year from Exeter High School. The photo was taken by Lela Ann (Becker) Hassler who was also a member of the class of 1949. The photo was shared by Hans Nelson.

Accepted Items at the Exeter Recycling Trailer

Corrugated cardboard: All boxes or packing boxes with a wavy core. Examples: Grocery boxes, clean pizza boxes. Please no egg cartons, cereal boxes, 12 pack holders
Magazines: all types of magazines are accepted. Preparations: Remove any plastic wrapped covers or sleeves. No phone books
Newspapers: Daily, Sunday, or weekly publications Preparations: no sorting of colored or slick pages is needed. Do not include plastic sleeves.
Aluminum cans: Pop, beer, sports drinks, some pet food containers. Pleases no pie tins or aluminum foil. Preparations: rinse (Optional- remove pull tabs and save for Exeter Woman’s Club)
Tin Cans: These are most of the canned goods on your pantry shelves. Preparations: Rinse, labels can be left on. Flatten gallon or large cans .
#2 Plastic (HDPE) This is a harder colored or white plastic is not clear. Examples: milk and water jugs, laundry detergents, shampoo, coffee, some yogurt, margarine & cottage cheese containers. Check the bottom number to be sure Preparations: rinse and discard lids, crush large containers
#1 Plastic (PETE) All plastic bottles that contain liquids consumed by humans are packaged in clear or colored # 1 PETE plastic bottles. Some other food such as catsup and salad dressing may also be this type but you must check the bottom number to be sure. Examples: pop, cranberry juice, sports drinks, liquor Preparations: rinse and discard lids
What NOT to do! Please do not use this trailer as your garbage dump! Items must be clean and properly sorted or the recycling company will not accept the items. DO NOT throw in bags, boxes, string or other “holders” along with the recycling items.
