Blind Date with a Book
During the month of February,
the theme in the high school library was "Blind Date with a Book".
Books were wrapped in brown paper and had a couple of sentences on them. Just
enough information to let you know what the book was about. The whole idea is
to get students reading books that they may turn away from because the cover is
not enticing or the book is over 5 years old. Several students took the
challenge and read a blind date book. When they were done they had to fill out
a questionnaire on the book. When they turned in the book and the
questionnaire, their name went into a drawing for a box of chocolates. The
winners of the Blind Date with a Book are Ashley Benorden (top) and Haylee Sheffield (bottom).
