A Memorial Service for Larry will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Farmer Funeral Home in Exeter, Nebraska with Kim Dunker presiding.
No Visitation - Cremation.
Graveside Services will take place at the Exeter Cemetery in Exeter, Nebraska following the Memorial Service.
Memorials are to be directed to the family to be designated at a later date.
Larry Wayne Robeson was born to Edward Glen Robeson and Holly Jean (Peters) Robeson on December 23, 1958 at Bassett, Nebraska. He passed away September 26, 2023, at his home in Exeter, Nebraska at the age of 64. He was one of 4 children in the family.
On May 24, 1959, Larry was baptized at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Bassett, Nebraska. In 1967, Larry and his family moved to Exeter, Nebraska. He was confirmed at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cordova, Nebraska on April 7, 1974 and graduated with the class of 1977 at Exeter Public Schools. He continued his education at Milford Tech in Milford, Nebraska and graduated in 1979. Larry worked for many years at Styskal Irrigation in Exeter, Nebraska, until the business closed. Larry also enjoyed helping Bob and Bill Leif farm for many years. He worked for Volzke Irrigation in Utica until his accident. Larry was employed at Pillen Farms as a transport driver, where he worked until his passing.
Larry enjoyed watching old black and white westerns and cartoons from his childhood. He also enjoyed playing scratch-off cards and driving around, especially in the country and visiting with everyone he met. He loved animals and adopted two cats that he was very fond of.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Edward Robeson, brother and sister-in law, Lyle and Lisa Robeson.
He is survived by his mother, Holly Robeson of West Point, NE; brother, Lynn (Debbie) Robeson of Omaha, NE; sister, Lori (Don) Franzluebbers of Dodge, NE; nieces, Karly (Ben) Topp, Axil and Anistyn of Cortland, NE; Kendra Robeson, Carter Macgowan and Colt Fenn; Kallie (Troy) Hixson all from Lincoln, NE; Emily Franzluebbers from West Point, NE and fiancé Derick Roeber; Elizabeth Franzluebbers and Erin Franzluebbers, from Dodge, NE.
