Exeter Resident Speaks at Capitol


Exeter resident Joey Bartu was chosen to represent the Boy Scouts of America at the State of the Council address in the State Capitol.  Bartu read a speech reporting on rural scouting and on the National Jamboree.  Governor Dave Heineman attended the event in the Governor’s Reception Room.  Bartu, along with his family and the other scouts and their families who also gave reports from the other Boy Scout Councils in the state toured the Governor’s Mansion before the address. Bartu is a Life Scout in Troop 270 out of Friend.
