The "Smart Cookies" in Kara Myers' reading
group this year have been "cooking" up a storm! After every 5
reading lessons, they take an individual check-out to look at their fluency and
accuracy in what they are reading. If they pass their check-outs the
first time, they are able to color a "cookie" to put in the
"cookie jar". As you can see, the cookie jar is getting pretty
full! Smart Cookies are (from left to right) Alexis Saatmann, Selah
