Exeter-Milligan 5th grade news
by Rachel Lucas, 5th grade teacher
On Friday, September 27, the fifth grade class participated
in a Mystery Skype. A Mystery Skype is a program used with the video messaging
system, Skype, where students use questioning and deduction skills to figure
out where the other class is "Skyping" from. After asking a series of
yes or no questions, we were able to pinpoint the location of the other fifth
grade class. They were from Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The
fifth grade had a great time as this was their first Mystery Skype. They can't
wait to do this again throughout the year.
