Student Teacher at Exeter-Milligan

Chelsey Quiqley is a new face at Exeter-Milligan this fall.  She will be at Exeter-Milligan for the fall semester as she assists Darcy White and Anita Mueller as a student teacher.

Not only is she working with White as an assistant in the Physical Education department she is also working under White with the volleyball team.

Quigley, who is from Indianola, Nebraska is working toward an education degree at York College.  She is a PE major with a special ed endorsement.  “I would like to be a Special Ed teacher and also coach volleyball or basketball.”

Living in York and commuting to Exeter has worked for her so far, “I had heard a few horror stories about student teaching but so far I am really enjoying it.  Everyone here is awesome.  The teachers and students have been great and it has been a good experience.”

Working with Mueller in the Resource department has also been rewarding, “I am actually getting to teach a little bit now and am really enjoying it.”
