the students to do their work in an environment that is comfortable for
them. My room includes a video chair, round ball, wobbly stool, tables
and chairs and of course, stretching out on the floor is always available.

Exeter-Milligan Update: Murphy's Music Musings

Exeter-Milligan
was well-represented in the Crossroads Conference Honor Band and Honor Choir as
well as at Class D All-State.
The
Crossroads Conference Honor Clinic was held at Centennial High School on
Monday, March 18. Four students performed in the choir and twenty
students performed in the band. Several band members received first chair
medals for their part. They included Kole Svec, first clarinet; Macy Due, first
bass clarinet; Briana Capek, first tenor saxophone; Jaiden Papik, first
trumpet; Trever Zelenka, second trumpet; Caitlin Murphy, first French horn;
Josie Kresak, third French horn; Nick Hayek, first trombone; and Joel Klemm,
first tuba.
Eighteen
Exeter-Milligan band members participated in the Class D All-State Band on the
UNK campus on Saturday, March 23. Kayla Geiger was the lone E-M student
in the Jazz Band and received a medal as the first alto saxophone player.
Seven students represented E-M in the Wind Ensemble, with three of them
medaling. Those medaling were Briana Capek, first tenor saxophone; Caitlin
Murphy, first French horn; and Josie Kresak, third French horn. Kole Svec,
Theron Odovdy, Nick Hayek, and Peytan Brandt were also selected to the Wind
Ensemble. Representing Exeter-Milligan in the Symphonic Band were Cammie
Harrison, Macy Due, Trever Zelenka, Jaiden Papik, Mitchell Manning, Daisy
Kanode, Clint Oldehoeft, Eli Johnson, Joel Klemm, and Braden Capek.

Exeter-Milligan Competes at Heartland Invite
Exeter-Milligan participated in the Heartland Invite on Tuesday afternoon. Highlights for the girls included:
Katherine White placing third in the 100 meter and fourth in the 200 meter dash, first in the 100m hurdles, Jaiden Papik placed in first in the 800 meter, fourth in the 1600m, Cameran Jansky was third in the 800 meter and Kate Jansky was fifth in the 800, Cammie Harrison placed sixth in the 1600m and fourth in the high jump. Maddie Luzum placed sixth in the pole vault.
As a team White, Papik and Jansky sister placed second in the 4 x 400. The team of Papik, the Jansky sisters and Harrison placed second in the 4 x 800.
Boys highlights:
Casey Jindra - second in the 100m dash, fourth in the 200m, second in long jump
Spencer Pribyl - sixth in the 800m, third in discus
Peytan Brandt - second in the 110m hurdles
The team of Jindra,Jackson Beethe, Clint Oldehoeft, and Pribyl placed fourth in the 4 x 400 relay

Lots of umbrellas were put in service for Saturday evening's prom preview in Milligan. The rain let up for part of the prom preview but the participants still seemed to have a good time.

Exeter-Milligan Update: Track Pack Club

Students
in grades 3-6 at Exeter-Milligan Public Schools recently kicked off the
Timberwolf Track Pack Club. Students track their laps working toward
completing a marathon worth of miles! The goal of the program is not
only to stress the importance of staying active but also to enjoy the spring
weather. Participants Ensley Stahl, Logan Johnson, RJ Clevenger, Addison
Foutch, Clayton Pribyl, and Scout Grummons run their laps during
recess.

Exeter-Milligan Update: Math Day

Nine students
from Exeter Milligan attended Harvard Math Day on Monday March 25th. The
students participated in a written exam, a fast math competition, and quiz bowl
competitions.
