Patricia Ann Powers was born to Max Powers and Vera Mae (Klone) Powers on June 9, 1941 in York, Nebraska. She passed away on June 23, 2026 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 83 years and 14 days. She was one of 2 children.
Pat graduated from York High School in 1959. After graduation, Pat moved to Lincoln and graduated from Lincoln School of Commerce. She went to work for the gas company in Lincoln and continued to work for them for over 50 years. She attended the First United Methodist
Church in Lincoln.
Pat loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed travelling to Exeter every other weekend to visit her sister, Barb. Together, they enjoyed running to York shopping, going out for dinner, playing cards, and laughing about anything and everything. Other interests included playing bingo, meeting her friends at the Gateway Mall for a few games of cards, Husker Sports, and taking care of her 2 cats.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Max Powers and Vera Mae Hueske; her step-father, Al Hueske; and her sister, Barbara Becker.
She is survived by her nieces, Jacquelyn (Greg) Yound of Exeter, Nebraska and Stephanie (Thom) Kastrup of Omaha, Nebraska; nephews, Paul (Julie) Becker of Lucas, Texas and Jamie (April) Becker of Columbus, Nebraska; and 10 great nieces and nephews and 4 great great nieces and nephews.
