EM Sophomore qualifies for State Golf

Carter Milton, Exeter-Milligan sophomore, qualified for state golf shooting an 81 at Indian Hills Golf Club in Grand Island Nebraska for district golf.  Milton was in a three way tie for third place and after the tie breaker finished in sixth and qualified for state.

Milton almost took his team along with him as they combined for a 367 just missing out on a team slot at state by 3 strokes.  Other team members include Draven Payne (93), Mikey Bartu (96) and Andrew Vavra (97).  The team recently won the CRC championship with Milton taking first place at the CRC tournament.

State golf will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 24 and 25 in North Plate.
