Members of Exeter Cub Scout Pack 218 enjoyed a trip to a Saltdogs game and campout last weekend. Six scouts and their parents along with Den Chief Joey Bartu attended the evening game at Haymarket Park.
Chelsey Quiqley is a new face at Exeter-Milligan this fall. She will be at Exeter-Milligan for the fall semester as she assists Darcy White and Anita Mueller as a student teacher.
Exeter-Milligan welcomed foreign exchange students Madeleine Ensrud from Norway and Jesper Anker from Denmark this year.
Exeter-Milligan players on the Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan Softball team were Logan Zeleny, Alicia Bigelow, Elly Korbelik, Shelby Bell, Maitlyn Thomsen, Meredith Emshoff and Hunter Stride.
Exeter-Milligan Cheerleaders are Deidre Stevens, Meredith Emshoff, Kylie Briske, Brooke Manning, Megan Waldron, Janey Due and Jordyn Brandt.
Changes at Exeter-Milligan include a new paved parking lot across the street from the gym. An abandoned home was torn down and the lot was leveled and paved. It is being used by students, staff and visitors and will help handle the overflow during special events.
This summer work was done to renovate the locker rooms at the Milligan campus.
There was a new crow’s nest built at the Milligan football field and four new smart boards were installed in classrooms.
