Throwback Thursday

As part of the laptop initiative this year the Exeter-Milligan 8th grade pre-algebra students compete with students around the country in online math races.

The Deshler Dragons visited Exeter-Milligan Friday night upsetting their homecoming celebration.

The Dragons came out in full force scoring 30 points before the first quarter was over.  Just into the second quarter Exeter-Milligan Senior Cody Soukup ran the ball until he was pushed out of the field of play at the 10 yard line. Soukup ran in it the next play for a touchdown fighting off the Dragons.

With some momentum behind their backs the Timberwolves recovered a Deshler fumble and moved quickly down the field only to have a pass intercepted by Deshler's Luke Diouhy.

The Timberwolves bounced back and made two more scores seeming to make momentum.

After the halftime show the Timberwolves faltered.  With 13:27 in the third quarter Josiah Burger scored bring the score to Deshler 42, Exeter-Milligan 14.

The final score from Deshler came with 8:14 left with Kyle Diouhy running the ball in from under five yards.

With a 50-14 final score the Timberwolves fall to 0-2 on the season and will head to Harvard next week.
