Notes from
the Spanish Classroom
By Lisa
Ricenbaw, Exeter-Milligan Spanish Instructor
Did you know
that learning a second language helps you to understand your own language
better? Students need practice to use correct grammar in order to communicate
successfully in any language. Spanish students at Exeter Milligan Public School
write sentences on marker boards to practice sentence structure. This practice
also helps students to find meaning in what they are saying and helps them to
focus on and remember the vocabulary. Writing, speaking and listening are all
good skills to practice and are necessary to become successful.
