Exeter Days is Coming Soon!



Exeter Days will be here before you know it and you won’t want to miss this growing fun event.

The weekend begins on Friday evening with a Quilt of Valor presentation for Ray Franzen at 6:30 p.m. at the Legion in downtown Exeter.  There will be light refreshments to follow.  

From there, dinner and a movie will be sponsored by the Exeter Area Community Foundation.  The dinner will be served out of Greg’s Market from 7 – 8:30 p.m. and the movie will be shown on the north side of Speece Chiropractic.  Bring your own seat and enjoy some free popcorn.

Saturday will be a full day starting with a bake sale at the fire hall starting at 8 am. Kids activities will be held at Gilbert’s park starting at 10 a.m.  Also at Gilbert’s Park Paige the Bookmobile will be making an appearance from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Handy Hands 4H club will be offering a walking taco lunch will in the park from 11:30- 1:00 p.m.
Registration for the car show begins at 10 a.m. downtown.  The show includes categories from tractors, motorcycles and rat rods.  Judging is at 1:30 p.m.

Find your shady spot for the parade which begins at 3:00 p.m. downtown and make sure you come back for the dinner at the legion with polka music by Angie Kriz and the Polkatoons starting at 6:00 p.m. Pie from the Exeter Woman’s Club members will be available to purchase at the Legion hall starting at 4:00 p.m.
