Tire Recycling



Tire Recycling Day- August 6th, 2010


A free scrap tire clean-up will be held on August 6th from noon to 6:00 p.m. at the Fairmont State Airfield at Roads 14th & H on a portion of an old runway. Tires from cars, trucks, tractors, combines and other farm machinery will be accepted. Tires must be off rims. Retailers are not permitted to bring tires. The event is sponsored by the Fillmore County Development Corporation (FCDC) and the Fillmore County Board of Supervisors and is funded by a grant from the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality.
