The Exeter Community Club sponsored the annual Christmas on Main event Saturday morning.
Santa arrived in town at 10 a.m. and everyone was invited to share their wishes and lists with him. He passed out goodies bags to all the kids.
The Christmas store was open for the cost of $1 for each child to purchase a gift for a parent. They could shop (with no parents present) and then their gift was expertly wrapped and tagged.
There were sugar cookies and frosting (donated by Casey's) for the kids to decorate and take home and plenty of crafts and games to play.
Members of the Exeter-Milligan FCCLA were on hand to help with all of the different stations along with members of the Exeter GFWC Woman's Club.
The community club sponsored a free will donation soup and sandwich lunch. During the lunch there was bingo with lots of prizes to be won.
Later in the afternoon they also shared the meal and plates of cookies with the older members of the community as they spent the afternoon caroling.
