The weather looked ominous Friday night but Exeter didn't see anything but maybe a few sprinkles and the Exeter Day activities were on!
The Beer run was certainly a hot experience with the high temps Exeter has been experiencing this week. With heat indexes over 100 these tough characters still were able to run Friday night. There was an art project available for the kids to create in the Legion during the meal. Paxton Panepinto tries his hand as his grandma Pat Becker watches.
The Legion was open for the evening meal with Greg's Market hosting a tasting of some new alcohol beverages. Also the Exeter Area Community Foundation provided a meal that was cooked and served as a free will donation for Liberty Johnson and Kiley Oldehoeft for their ambassador music trip and for Jozie Kanode's recent mission trip.
After the meal it was time to get set up to play the movie "Finding Nemo" outside. Popcorn was available.
