The Exeter-Milligan girls finished in first place after a hotly contested game on Thursday afternoon. On Wednesday, the girls team played Silver Lake and easily defeated them 40-17. Thursday's contest, against Shelton, was a different story. The lead went back and forth between the two teams with Shelton leading by one point in the last minutes. After several timeouts the Exeter-Milligan girls went out on the court, nailed a three and then stole the ball from Shelton and went straight to the hoop to win the game 44-41.
