The calculus class is studying continuous functions and finishing up our unit on limits.  Pictured is Georgia Meyer determining where a function is continuous.

 

The Algebra 2 class is reviewing solving systems of two equations and getting ready to solve systems of three equations.  Pictured is Peyton Pribyl solving a system of two equations using substitution.

Exeter-Milligan Wins first round at CRC Tournament

Exeter-Milligan made quick work of High Plains at the CRC tournament on Saturday.  They won 25-16 and 25-20 to take their first round in the tournament.  They will meet Cross County on Monday at 6 p.m. at the York High School Gym.

Exeter-Milligan Makes Quick Work of High Plains

It was parent's night at the Exeter-Milligan Volleyball game on Tuesday night.  The parents walked out with their players before the game.  The Timberwolves swept the Storm out of town in three straight sets.  25-16, 25-20 and 25-15







The seniors took a few moments to speak and thank their parents and their fans.

Throwback Thursday

 

The Exeter-Milligan One Act Play Team will be presenting “Mother Knows Best”, a comedy featuring a few familiar nursery rhyme characters, by Geff Moyer this season.

 

Congratulations to Exeter-Milligan 4th, 5th and 6th graders for their undefeated soccer season this year.  The team played five games of soccer this fall in Geneva and won each game by a large margin.  Team members are Joey Bartu, Peytan Brandt, Blake Steuben, Hannah Horne, Haylee Sheffield, Colton Bossaller, Patrick Murphy, Kelsey Bigelow, Trystan Brandt, Samantha Horne, Josie Kresak, Kate Jansky, Johnny Babula. They are coached by Kendra Jansky, Brian Murphy and Brady Bristol.

 

Exeter-Milligan 2nd and 3rd graders had a winning season with a record of 6-2.  Team members are Kayla Geiger, Anna Sluka, Alivia Hartmann, Cammie Harrison, Caitlin Murphy, Makenna Morgan, Jacy Schlueter, Cayden Hartmann, Jaiden Papik, Ty Underwood, Max Zeleny and Caleb Horne. They are coached by Zac and Christina Hartmann.

 

Exeter-Milligan Kindergarten and 1st graders had a record of 5 - 3 for their winning season this year.  Team members are Kole Svec, Cade Kresak, Alec Schlueter, Ben Bartu, Braden Capek, Becca Krupicka, Katelyn Babula, Cameran Jansky and Briana Capek.  They are coached by Kendra Jansky.

 

The Exeter-Milligan 3rd grade recently went to the Plum Creek Literacy Festival at Concordia University in Seward. At the festival they had the opportunity to see and hear from author Dan
Gutman and illustrator Pat Schories. Pat Schories is the illustrator of the book series "Biscuit". The 3rd grade was fortunate to have their picture taken with the lovable dog Biscuit.

Exeter-Milligan Celebrates Homecoming at Pep Rally

The band and cheerleaders marched downtown to the Pep Rally
The Seniors arrived at the Pep Rally on the fire truck
Downtown started to fill up for the pep rally.
Cheerleaders led several cheers
Representatives from each 7-12 class were chosen randomly to participate in a booty shaking game.  They had to shake ping pong balls out of a kleenex box that was tied to their waste.

The football players raced to knock over bottles with the tennis ball filled pantyhose on their heads not using their hands until someone decided to move things along a little faster.


The cheerleaders led one more cheer before the band played their drums.




Ice cream for everyone ended the day.  The ice cream was donated by Greg's Market.
