3D Printing at Exeter-Milligan

We have been fortunate to get 3D printers at Exeter-Milligan. The computer apps students have been working with Photoshop and the site online-convert.com to take 2D pictures, edit them and convert them to 3D printable art. Pictured are some examples of what have been created. From left to right: a snowflake designed in Photoshop, Timberwolf logo edited in Photoshop and an eclipse viewer from NASA which was edited to add Exeter-Milligan to it and then printed. We are excited to continue to explore and create with the 3D printers.

Timberwolves Win Sub-Districts

Exeter-Milligan Lady Timberwolves traveled to Shelby-Rising City tonight (Tuesday, Halloween) and defeated the Mead Raiders 25-13, 25-7 and 25-14.  They will meet Falls City Sacred Heart Thursday night at a location to be announced.

Death Notice: Reta Mae Coffey

A Funeral Mass for Reta Mae will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Exeter. A Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m., prior to the Mass. Father Steve Thomlison will officiate the services.

Graveside Services will be held in the Exeter Cemetery following the Funeral Mass.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Farmer Funeral Home in Exeter.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Stephen's Catholic Church or the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Exeter-Milligan Update: One Act Performance

Holy Jumping Frogs!

The Exeter-Milligan one-act play cast has been practicing for their first performance on November 5^th at the Exeter site with a dessert luncheon provided by the FCCLA chapter. Members of the cast include Daisy Kanode, Clint Oldehoeft, Katie Moody, Blake Meyer, Jaiden Papik, Sean Gibson, and Cammie Harrison (pictured from left to right) . They will be performing "The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County" by Joseph McDonough. It is based on the short story by Mark Twain. Other performances are on November 15^th at Shickley for CRC South conference competition, and November 29^th for D1-1 Districts at Johnson-Brock School. Everyone is welcome to attend. We hope to give you a laugh or two.

St Stephen's Altar Society Salad Luncheon

 St. Stephen's Altar Society Salad Luncheon was full to capacity during the Thursday noon event.

White Recognized for 500 Wins

Exeter-Milligan recognized Head Volleyball Coach Darcy White for achieving 500 wins in her coaching career.  White, whose coaching career has spanned 25 years has coached at McCool Junction, Exeter, Milligan and is now the head coach at Exeter-Milligan.  The team presented her with a ball and metal cutout reflecting the 500 wins.  The 500^th win came during the MUDECAS tournament this fall against Freeman.  The team presented White with roses and assistant coach Laura Kroll wrote a poem and read it to commemorate the event.  Cake was served to many of her former players, family and friends after the Timberwolves beat Shelby-Rising City.

Exeter-Milligan Falls in First Round of Football Playoffs

Exeter-Milligan battled a tough top seed during Thursday night’s playoff matchup in Bloomfield.  The Bees swarmed all over the field keeping the Timberwolves offensive to a minimum.  Joey Bartu, #27 struggles to find any wiggle room around the attack of #23 Trenton Holz and #19 Braden Eisenhauer with Timberwolf Colton Bossaller in the fray.  The Timberwolves lone score came from a beautiful Spencer Pribyl right into the capable hands of Trever Zelenka in the end zone during the fourth quarter. 

 #21 Spencer Pribyl has a little room to look and throw with #51 Johnny Babula holding the swarm of Bees at bay.  Pribyl had to fight the 25 mph wind plus gusts and connected with Trever Zelenka in the end zone in the fourth quarter.

The Timberwolves struggled all night in stopping the Bloomfield Bees run game, especially #28 Quinten Moles.  Exeter-Milligan’s #48 Ryan Sharp heads in to help #27 Joey Bartu contain the swarm.

 Above and below:  For most of the first half Exeter-Milligan's #51 Johnny Babula blocked Bloomfield's #54 Jared Hornback until Hornback was ejected from the game for a block in the back and unsportsmanlike conduct.
