Timberwolves on the radio tonight

The Exeter-Milligan Versus High Plains Community game which starts at 6:00 p.m. will be broadcast on KTMX 104.9 tonight if you can't make it to the Milligan field.

Find the Silver Van and Find the Timberwolves

A set of patrons of the Exeter-Milligan School district purchased this "old" van from the school to use to travel to and hopefully from sporting events. The Van has been nick-named the Silver Sow and is not exactly in pristine condition.  The Sow has made several long, hold your breath and hope we make it there, hauls to and from football and volleyball games this fall. A personal thank you for the support of the patrons who not only dare the cold but also the possibility of a long walk in the cold. Thanks!

Exeter-Milligan Update: Kindergarteners Learn Body Parts

Exeter-Milligan Kindergarten class has been learning about Body Parts in Science Class. They have learned about internal organs and what the heart, lungs, stomach, and brain do for us. They have learned how important bones are to the body and made a skeleton. For external body parts, they made a scarecrow. Here they are shown seeing how important the thumb is. First they wrote their name, ate a cracker and picked up pennies using their whole hand. Then the thumb was taped down and they had to do the activities without the thumb.

Exeter St. Stephen's Altar Society Salad Luncheon

There were tons of salads to choose from as the ladies walked through the line at the St. Stephen’s Altar Society Annual Salad Luncheon and Card Party

Father Tom Kuffel, priest at Exeter’s St. Stephen’s was in charge of the drink table at the Altar Society Salad Luncheon and Card Party.

The Exeter American Legion Home was full for the St. Stephens Altar Society Salad Luncheon and Card Party.

The ladies at Exeter's St. Stephen's Altar Society held another successful salad luncheon and card party last week. The Legion was full and the food was wonderful.  Guests from all over attended the yearly event and enjoyed the food, fellowship and fun.
